Flammgardz is a revolutionary new technology that is elevating airline industry safety to unprecedented levels. By treating materials inside an aircraft with Flammgardz, there is a significant decrease in flame and burn time upon initial application, as well as a several dry cleaning cycles after the Flammgardz is applied.

The primary use of Flammgardz is upon Seat Dress Coverings in airplanes, although flammgardz can be applied to numerous other materials inside an aircraft. Please return shortly for comprehensive information on flammgardz.

"We are aware that some research groups have stated in recent articles that some flame retardant components have been associated with cancer causing agents. These components are called polybrominated diphenyl ethers or more commonly referred to as PBDEs. PBDEs are added to plastic materials used in computers, televisions and polyurethane foam cushions in upholstered furniture. As these materials are discarded, they degrade in our landfills and small amounts of PBDEs are released into our environment in dust form.

What is of concern, as noted in a recent report by the California Public Interest Research Group (CALPIRG), is that PBDEs are showing up in the breast milk of American women in concentrations that are increasing exponentially.

We wish to state that FLAMMGARDZ does not contain any PBDEs. FLAMMGARDZ does not contain any known carcinogens and is completely biodegradable. FLAMMGARDZ does not contain any toxic chemicals subject to reporting requirements of Section 313 of the Emergency Planning Community Right to Know Act of 1986 and CFR 372. If you have any questions regarding this topic, please contact your FLAMMGUARD, Inc. representative."
